Spectrum
Despite already having access to large chunks of what is considered scarce spectrum, both Telkom and Sentech want the opportunity to bid for what is left.
This is massively cheeky imo. They already have been given spectrum and they want more? Are Sentect even using theirs post cancelling MyWireless? My hope is that ICASA stick to their guns and that this auction is only for the other service providers. The incumbants argue its unfair for them, but how unfair is it that they got given spectrum and then also get to bid for more. That gives them an unfair advantage. By only allowing the other providers to bid its actually leveling the playing field a little bit.
